Vic Bevington

Vic’s background in engineering stood him in great stead as Founding Partner (together with Eric Pedley) of C&S Building Services. Vic has enjoyed successfully running the Company since 1981. The Company started out with a dream of creating a small local business that would trade solely on its reputation as an honest, skilled, fair-minded organisation. Almost 30 years later the Company continues to thrive on the same basic principles of trust, openness, and skilled workmanship.

Vic is proud that the Company “has never advertised for work” since its inception in 1981.

A keen athlete, junior athletics coach and member of Newcastle Staffs AC, three times marathon runner Vic is married to “sports widow” Janet and has a son, Stephen and daughter Caroline.

Mark Law

Mark started his working life in construction, before embarking on an extensive career in business management and finance. Mark has enjoyed personal success in property development and refurbishment for over 20 years and has built up a portfolio of rental property.

Mark is married to wife Caroline, daughter of Founder Vic Bevington.

Stephen Bevington

Son of C&S Building Services founder Vic Bevington, Stephen joined the family business on leaving school in 1986. Some 23 years later he has earned his reputation as a skilled craftsman, accomplished in all areas of building and construction work. He is well known for his sunny nature and is liked by all who meet him.

A keen angler and off road cyclist, Stephen is married to wife Vicky and has two children, Jessica and Ben.

Simon Clarke

Simon joined C&S Building Services 20 years ago. A skilled joiner by trade, Simon has since broadened his skills to include all types of building and construction work. Simon thoroughly enjoys both the trade and the company of the rest of the team and says these are the main factors which see him continuing his career with the Company.

“Outdoors” man Simon lives with his partner Kelly and her daughter Sophie.

Eric Pedley

Together with Vic Bevington, Eric was a Founding Partner in C&S Building Services and played a big part in its continued success. Eric retired from the business late 2009 in order to spend more time with his daughter Samantha and son Craig, after the passing of his dear wife Pauline. C&S Building Services continues to build on the success that Vic and Eric enjoyed throughout almost 30 years of trading.
